My Views on War: The True Value of the Japanese People is Questioned

Introduction

Everything that I am about to write is my opinion as an ordinary college student. I thought that political statements should not be made on a blog, but I am so outraged by the recent news that I have decided to put my thoughts on this blog. I don't really want to write about differences in political views, as they often create conflicts, but the daily news keeps me impatient and nervous, so I decided to write this as a way to organize my thoughts.
These are my personal thoughts only. I should also mention in advance that some of these ideas are beyond my knowledge. We pray for the souls of the victims of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict and hope for a quick ceasefire and resolution.

Russian military aggression and nuclear weapons

The whole world, with a few exceptions, has condemned Russia's military invasion of Ukraine. The Russian government's decision is unbelievable. An inhumane way to successfully invade Ukraine by force. It is truly unforgivable. If this is approved, it will set a precedent that aggression by force is possible, and in the near future, China may use force to solve the problem of Taiwan and the Senkaku Islands. Japan is no stranger to this. China is said to be closely watching the Russia-Ukraine problem, replacing it with its own.

Tensions have also increased considerably with regard to nuclear weapons, with current Russian President Vladimir Putin making statements suggesting the use of nuclear weapons and putting the forces that handle nuclear weapons on alert. We have also heard news that the Russian military has taken control of a nuclear power plant in Ukraine, and we think it is finally getting dangerous. Has Russia forgotten the Chernobyl nuclear accident? I really don't think it's worth talking about. Russia should know that a nuclear accident carries a great risk of making the area uninhabitable forever. If we start solving things with nuclear weapons, that would really be the end of the world, in my opinion.

Japan's Military Power

Around me, people say, "Japan should increase its military power," and "Shouldn't Japan also have nuclear weapons? I do not think so at all. The only way to solve military problems is through military means, but that is only for military purposes. There are countries nearby, such as China and the North, that can be considered a threat "depending on the situation," but the cause of their development to the military level is entirely "diplomacy. Japan first needs to improve its "diplomacy" before its military. Breaking the three non-nuclear principles is out of the question. First of all, we need to have good relations with other countries, and we need to devote our efforts to that end. In the end, negotiations are the key to the current conflict between Ukraine and Russia. As long as the idea of resolving issues by force remains at the root, peace in the true sense of the word will never come.

The true value of the Japanese people will be tested.

Today, I learned from the news that something I had feared was happening. It is a slander against "Russians". It is said that in Russia, those who defy the chief are locked up. In other words, the chief is surrounded only by Yes-men. The reality is that the people's protests do not reach the chief. However, it seems that in Japan today, there is a noticeable amount of slander against Russians, mainly on social networking services. I am beyond angry and dismayed.

From Twitter
I don't want to see Russians' faces.
Russian people must be killed, etc.

You better correct that naive thinking right now. It's not worth talking about. People overseas often say that Japanese people are kind, but I have recently come to believe that this is only part of the story. They take advantage of their anonymity and say whatever they want. There are many people who transmit information without knowing who or how it will affect them. If someone gets very hurt by the information you send out, can you take responsibility for it? There must be many people whose lives are ruined by slander. Can you take responsibility for that? You should not send out information without thinking that far ahead.

How can you say the word "shite" so easily? It hurts my heart to hear that word. I am not trying to be a nice person. It really hurts my heart. You are denying the person's life. They deny everything without knowing what thought process led them to that conclusion. I am outraged by this approach.
Now, not only Ukraine but also Russia is in trouble. People in Russia who do not know what is right because of information control. More hardship may lie ahead, such as economic sanctions. What should we believe? The only information we can get from the Russian government is that the Russian military has the advantage. Many people may not want to believe it, but they have no choice but to believe it. If you know you're wrong and you protest, you will be detained. I can't even begin to guess how painful it is to be unable to express my own opinions openly. Just don't lose. Only the people of the country can correct the policy of the country when they think it is wrong. By the way, the same thing happened in the movie "Shingari". I don't know how much trouble that would be. If anyone thinks that I should not say it so easily, it is my lack of recognition. My apologies.

There are many people in Japan who are very interested in other people. So, first of all, let's not start from denial, but only know the facts of what is happening. If we think about what we can do and put it into action, it will surely help someone in need.
